The Common Agricultural Policy of the European Union grants subsidies for olive production. Areas of intensified olive farming will be of major importance for the increasing demand for oil production of the next decades, and countries with a high ratio of intensively and super-intensively managed olive groves will be more competitive than others, since they are able to reduce production costs. Direct costs of glaucoma and severity of the disease: a multinational long term study of resource utilisation in Europe

International audience; Background: Resource utilisation and direct costs associated with glaucoma progression in Europe are unknown. As population progressively ages, the economic impact of the disease will increase. Methods: From a total of 1655 consecutive cases, the records of 194 patients were selected and stratified by disease severity. Record selection was based on diagnoses of primary open angle glaucoma, glaucoma suspect, ocular hypertension, or normal tension glaucoma; 5 years minimum follow up were required. The Finnish word ’henkilö’ is difficult to translate in English as a ‘Person’, but in international plan-language, Esperanto, we can quite exactly translate it as ‘spiritulo’. The word henkilö, spiritulo, is developed in the 19th century from the ancient Finnish word ‘henki’ by the medical doctor in Jyväskylä region Wolmar Schildt-Kilpinen. Det faglige innenfraperspektivet fremmer elevenes toleranse og kognitive empati med annerledes tenkende, samt at det gir mulighet for gjenkjennelse av eget livssyn. A partir de la metodología cualitativa de análisis de contenido, se reconoce cómo la naturaleza de estas religiones determina su interpretación del fenómeno de la inmigración. En los resultados, como fruto de los hallazgos encontrados y su comparación, se argumenta que la mediación intercultural se erige en herramienta privilegiada para el encuentro interreligioso y el reconocimiento socioeducativo de la realidad de la inmigración. The rise to power of National Socialism in early 1933 made Germany become the second fascist regime and seemingly confirm fascism’s universal character. In this text, Morant examines Nazism as the German exponent of the fascist political culture by focusing both on the most characteristic elements of its world view (anti-Semitism, the myth of the Volksgemeinschaft, its nature as a political religion and its totalitarian ambitions) and the visible representations of a movement that paid special attention to future generations and did not neglect (non-Jew) women, since they constituted at least half of the “national community”.
